Dzong Taksang Lakhang or Paro Lakhang, also known as Tiger Lair, is a famous Buddhist monastery located on a cliff at the top of the Paro Valley in Bhutan.
In the entire history of this dzong, no one could conquer it. Bhutanese, seated outside the walls of this citadel, challenged all of Tibet and other invaders.
The royal family of Bhutan once lived here. Built in 1648, this multi-story building is one of the architectural wonders of Bhutan.
